Agustina Gandolfo, the partner of Inter and Argentina striker Lautaro Martinez, vented on social media after a scary incident in Qatar.
The 26-year-old model was present for the Albiceleste’s 3-0 win over Croatia in the semi-finals of the World Cup and after the match, she decided to go for a drink with her sister and her sister’s partner. The group visited a bar in a shopping mall in Doha, where they allegedly found several pieces of glass in the drink bottle.
They first alerted security before deciding to visit hospital to check for any issues. Before their hospital visit, they visited the Argentinian embassy to try and understand the workings of the Qatari health care system.
The officials, much to Gandolfo’s surprise, reportedly downplayed the entire thing, even accusing the pair of putting the glass there themselves. It was an extremely unpleasant moment for the model, who later reported the incident.
Writing on Instagram after the fact, Gandolfo wrote: “A disgrace, we have the complaint and witnesses at the club.”
