Juventus only have 19 players available for their away clash with Lecce, including two youngsters promoted from the NextGen squad.

Massimiliano Allegri has named his squad list for Saturday’s match at the Stadio Via Del Mare, where the Bianconeri will be looking for their third consecutive win in Serie A.

Several players are out of action, including many potential regular starters.

Paul Pogba, Federico Chiesa, Angel Di Maria, Manuel Locatelli, Dusan Vlahovic, Leandro Paredes, Mattia De Sciglio and Gleison Bremer, are not available, plus youngsters Marley Aké and Kaio Jorge who have been training regularly with the senior team during the last year.

During his pre-match press conference, Allegri said he has ‘enough players’ to face Lecce tomorrow.

Samuel-Iling Junior and Mattia Compagnon have been promoted to the senior team for Saturday’s away match.

Iling-Junior made his senior debut against Empoli last week and was introduced against Benfica on Tuesday when he delivered an assist for Arek Milik.

His contract expires in June and Juventus have opened talks to extend his stay at the club.

  1. PhD Max is a genius. The excuse is already in place and I am sure we will see more vintage back back against Lecce.
