Juventus are already planning ahead for the January transfer window and have reportedly identified Fiorentina defender Igor as a concrete target.

The Bianconeri’s priorities heading into the winter market are a new left back and new central defender, with neither role proving particularly convincing following the opening weeks of the season. Juventus are still in the early stages of their transitional period and it’s clear that a long-term replacement for Leonardo Bonucci is needed.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Juventus have set their sights on Igor, who impressed during last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Fiorentina. The 24-year-old Brazilian is known for his strong positional play and the fact that he’s left-footed makes him even more interesting for the Bianconeri management.

The Old Lady are hoping to complete a ‘Dusan Vlahovic like’ deal with the Viola in January, and considering that Igor’s contract expires in June 2024, they’ll be feeling confident.

  1. Lets not go cheap, lets buy a player whos already at the top as has a re-sale value, also left footed, Pau Torres

  2. OMG! This is fantastic. I hope this news is true. Igor – Bremer duo! Two Brazilian beasts for Allegri, a lovely gift from Elkann.
