Rade Krunic will not take part for Milan in tomorrow’s Serie A clash against Atalanta due to a muscle strain, reports suggest.

Stefano Pioli is preparing for the Rossoneri’s second game of the season against la Dea tomorrow, a difficult match early in the campaign. Sandro Tonali is expected to return after missing out on the season opener due to injury, but things are not perfect still for Pioli.

As reported by MilanNews.it, Krunic has suffered a strain to his left thigh muscle, ruling him out of the game against Atalanta tomorrow. Stefano Pioli confirmed in a press conference that his condition will be monitored closely.

There’s a chance that Krunic could also miss the Rossoneri’s following game against Bologna on August 27.

The 28-year-old Bosnian midfielder played a regular role for Pioli in last season’s Scudetto run, making 35 appearances across all competitions. In that time, Krunic provided one assist and impressed with his stamina and grit on the pitch.
