Milan target Renato Sanches is now only reportedly days away from signing for Paris Saint-Germain after they reached an agreement with Lille.
The Rossoneri have been big fans of the 24-year-old Portuguese midfielder for a while now and had been hoping to add him to Stefano Pioli’s squad this summer, but the competition from PSG has proven impossible to shake off.
As reported by Le Parisien, PSG and Lille have reached an agreement on the basis of €12m plus add-ons and Sanches is now ready to sign for the club, possibly as early as next week. The Portuguese midfielder’s desire to join the French giants ultimately made the difference, with Milan’s offer to Lille actually being higher, sitting at €15m plus €3m in add-ons.
Sanches is expected to undergo his pre-transfer medicals with PSG next week before flying out to Japan to join them on their pre-season tour.
