Romelu Lukaku is reportedly ready to fly to London to meet Chelsea directors, insisting that he wants to return to Inter.
The Belgium international is determined to wear the Nerazzurri shirt again, returning to the club after a disappointing season at Stamford Bridge.
Inter are in talks with Paulo Dybala’s agent, but are also waiting for news from London, where, according to Il Corriere dello Sport, Lukaku will return in the coming days.
The striker is pushing for a return to the Stadio Meazza and is expected to personally meet Chelsea directors, reiterating that he wants to play for Inter again.
According to the report, Chelsea are open to sending Lukaku back to his former club on a season loan worth €20m, but Inter don’t want to spend more than €10m for a temporary transfer.
A possible swap deal with one of Inter’s stars is also on the cards, given that Chelsea are interested in both Lautaro Martinez and Denzel Dumfries.
As per Sky Sport Italia, Inter can’t afford both Dybala and Lukaku unless Alexis Sanchez and another striker leave San Siro.
