Former Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo is currently under review by the Merseyside Police after being involved in an incident with a teenage fan.
The 37-year-old Portuguese forward, who left Turin last summer to make his Manchester United return, was incredibly frustrated following the Red Devils’ 1-0 loss to Everton in a Premier League clash yesterday. Whilst limping off the pitch, he appeared to swat a phone out of a teenage fan’s hand, slightly striking the boy in the process.
Ronaldo later apologised for the incident and offered tickets for a Manchester United game, but the teenager’s mother refused to accept it. Sarah Kelly described the incident involving the former Juventus star and 14-year-old Jake Harding, saying: “At full-time the Manchester United players started walking off.
“We were in the Park End so we were right by the tunnel where they came walking past, my son was there filming them all.
“He filmed all the United players walking through. And then he lowered his phone because Ronaldo had pulled down his sock and his leg was bleeding. He lowered his phone to see what it was, he didn’t even speak.
“Ronaldo then just walked past, with a terrible, terrible temper and smashed the phone out of my son’s hand and carried on walking.
“I was crying, I was shook up, Jacob was in complete shock, he’s autistic and he’s got dyspraxia as well, so he didn’t really digest what was happening until he’s come home now.
“He’s really upset about it and it’s completely put him off going to the game again. This is the first football game he’s been to and this has happened.
“We had an absolutely brilliant day up until those final few seconds when they came off the pitch. It’s completely ruined the day and put a bad taste in our mouth.”
Things have not been simple for Ronaldo following his Juventus departure last summer. Manchester United have not lived up to expectation and the Portuguese forward is often seen visibly frustrated with the poor performances.
Another angle has emerged of the incident between Cristiano Ronaldo and a fan, the forward is currently under review by the Merseyside Police and has since apologised.

That’s reputational suicide for anyone else.
Let’s see if this is just left to be forgotten about so that he can be preserved as an Olympian forever.
What a sports person…
Shocking reaction from a man that called himself GOAT😲
As a father himself, he should be ashamed, what a sore loser.
will smith moment
Bare minimum for me
8 Match ban with a hefty fine
Compensation payment to the kid in question
Not that will impact him much, but Billy Big B*locks needs to be taken down a notch or two.
