Juventus have decided which three areas of their squad need to be strengthened in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Bianconeri currently sit 4th in the Serie A table, something which doesn’t reflect the incredibly disappointing first half of the season endured by Massimiliano Allegri’s side, who suffered a painful Champions League exit to Villarreal. The club understand that important reinforcements are needed in the summer to return to a competitive level again.

As reported by Goal.com, Juventus’ main priorities for the upcoming summer transfer window are a new left back to replace Alex Sandro, a physical midfielder who has the potential to score goals and a top replacement for Paulo Dybala, giving Dusan Vlahovic some assistance up front.

The Bianconeri know that the €80m signing of Vlahovic in January was only the start of a squad overhaul and the departure of Paulo Dybala, as well as possibly others who have expiring contracts, frees up space on the wage bill.

  1. The best transfer juve can make is sending that Mr burns lord voldermort love child allegri to the serie A equivalent azkaban, thinks that a 29 year old is too young, loses to villareal 3 nil and says it was a great performance…. keeps playing bidoni like sandro and atrhur I despair

  2. @Dennis Which giovani are you referring to? Allegri plays who he has based on decisions made by others. Once the deadwood is sold off, he can rebuild a strong team. The idea that Allegri is the problem led to Juve having Pirlo and Sarri as managers, and we all saw how that went.

  3. I want to see more of Fagioli Miretti Rovella Gatti next season, Raspadori is also an option but depends on how much he will cost, we do have young players ready to step up, in other leagues those players would already be in the first team, the negative attitude towards our youth has to stop, when our young players get a chance on the rare occasion they don’t often disappoint, that’s why i don’t like allegri as he has no vision with youth. He said yesterday that he won’t put faith in them, I agree though sarri and pirlo were not the answer either.

  4. Allegri thinks that Di Maria is a top young player and just about ready to step up now. Mr Burns wannabe

  5. this allergi is just blind so he can not see how big the impact of the youth players..

Just see AC milan with donnarumma (was), and now tonali, theo hernandez, kalulu, kessie, leao, tomori (about half of the first team)

Atalanta and napoli also good example what youth players can do

Allergi just just blind and so stubborn. That’s it.

Pathetic that juventus youth are one of the best and then all of the players will be sent to another big teams

  6. 3 more years of zombie ball to come and more mediocre performs guaranteed.

  7. It’s either allegri has to go ,or the management force ,some creative and skillful Midfielders on him , ericksen style number 10s, Kevin DB, fabregas zidane styled number 10s, the club excos can force a more attacking and creative style on allegri, by only buying exciting attacking talent , the same was ericksen and perisic Sanchez were forced on conte.

  8. Allegri is proven. The players are not. He needs a summer with a decent squad. Juve look a lot better now but they still need a few more changes to challenge and a fit chiesa.

  9. 3 areas Juve need to deal with are as follows:

    1. Get rid of Agnelli.
    2. Get rid of Allegri.
    3. Get rid of Arrivabene.

Add on inclusions are as follows:

    4. Get rid Nedved.
    5. Get rid of Cherubini.
    6. Beg Marotta to come back.

  10. I agree with you Dennis, we need the youth players t start , enough is enough. Is there any greater disaster than Juventus losing every season in the second round of the champions league to start with the youth? is there greater disaster than Italy not qualifying to the World Cup twice in a row to not trusting our youth yet? What are we waiting more???

  11. You guys crack me up with this push for youth but at the same time do not realise who is guiding the ship. With Allegri you cannot think that he will do something like this. Look at his career and understand he has never gone with youth and even let the cat out of the bag admitting he will not go down that route. Look at what he has done with young players as well. Ruined Kulu, Chiesa started to dip and Loca is played out of position. This bald eagle has no vision with or without younger players.
