Milan are refusing to give up in their chase of Manchester United defender Eric Bailly after new developments came to light.
The Rossoneri need to sign a new centre back following the injuries to Simon Kjaer and Fikayo Tomori, and they need to act fast as there’s only 16 days left in the transfer window. Whilst they have no shortage of ideas, it’s difficult to find the right deal.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are still interested in acquiring Bailly and now a deal seems significantly more accessible. Manchester United have seemingly changed their minds and they’re now open to a loan deal, the Rossoneri’s preferred formula.
The alternative option for now is Paris Saint-Germain’s Abdou Diallo, although it would be a more difficult deal as the Parisians only want a definitive sale.
The 27-year-old Bailly has only made four Premier League appearances this season for Manchester United, for a total of 217 minutes. His contract expires with the Red Devils in 2024.

Bailly and Tomori, Milan building a fortress at the back!
Please no! This guy is more injury prone than Pellegri!
Fortress out of paper maybe. This guy is talented but misses half the matches in every season guaranteed.
To be fair, so do all our defenders.
