Sampdoria have opened talks with Inter for Stefano Sensi and they’re continuing to push for a deal despite difficulties.

The first contacts between the two clubs took place a few weeks ago, but the 26-year-old Italian midfielder was not keen and so said no. Despite his refusal, however, the Ligurian side refused to give up and so have remained in talks with the Nerazzurri.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Sensi is slowly warming up to the idea of leaving Milan in order to find more regular playing time else so, and so he’s seriously considering the idea of accepting Sampdoria’s offer. Inter are also happy for the player to leave on loan, as it would give him the chance to shine with some consistent minutes.

The 26-year-old Sensi, who is contracted to Inter until 2024, has made nine Serie A appearances this season, for a total of 160 minutes. He has only made one start, missing five consecutive matches due to a medial collateral ligament injury.

  1. He would walk straight into Juve midfield and address their mess in the midfield. Thankfully Marotta is not stupid
