Juventus are on the lookout for a new striker in January, and according to Tuttosport, Manchester United forward Edinson Cavani is on the Bianconeri’s radars.

Cavani, 34, sees his contract at Old Trafford expire in June 2022.

According to the report, he is open to leaving Old Trafford because he wants a club that motivates him.

Juventus have the worst attacking record among the top ten clubs in Serie A, having scored 22 goals in 16 league games so far this season.

Cavani is one of the player’s on Juventus radars along with Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic and Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca.

As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, Vlahovic is the Bianconeri’s No.1 target, but Manchester City and Tottenham have a bigger transfer budget than the Old Lady and it is still unclear whether or not the 21-year-old will leave the Franchi in January.

According to the report, Juventus must sell Dejan Kulusevski and Aaron Ramsey to boost their budget and convince Fiorentina to sell Vlahovic.

Scamacca is also being monitored by the Serie A giants and the same goes for Inter.

Sassuolo value their star striker at €40m and are unwilling to sell him in January.

  1. Please Stop linking every player with Spurs. The are Englands equivalent to Fiorentina. A mid table club.
The way this site is going messi will be playing for spurs next season.

  2. ha ha ha this would not surprise me. Rube wants to bring in another oldie who spends most of his time on the treatment table and will most likely give him a 4 year contract, £9m a season. Flimsay must be giving him economic advice. Vlahovic was always going to be out of reach and Icardi is still too young. If Rube fails to qualify for CL, maybe they will not be able to afford the payment for Chiesa. He woulld look better in black and blue and since they do not own him, I am sure Commisso will listen. Let us hope it happens.
