Bologna defender Arthur Theate is a late addition to the Belgium squad for tomorrow’s Nations League match against France.
The 21-year-old centre-back can also play at left-back and has scored two Serie A goals in just three appearances for the Rossoblu this season.
He has two caps for the Under-21 Belgium team, but was a surprise inclusion in today’s training session.
According to reports, Theate will be part of the group playing against France at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin tomorrow evening.
Italy host Spain at San Siro in the other Nations League semi-final tonight.

Don’t know about him, but one thing is for sure and that is that he is in form and on fire.
He looks to be a real find. One advantage of Serie A not been able to compete with the EPL’s economic resources, is that they’re becoming experts at scouting youth. Sell Tomiyasu for million’s + bring in another for a fraction of the cost. No problem.
That Hickey is improving too. Venezia, Spezia, Empoli, there’s lots of clubs who have promising young players now. Tomiyasu was good but Theate could be a real good replacement!
