Fiorentina and Inter fans clashed outside the Stadio Artemio Franchi last night after the match between Viola and Nerazzurri.
The brawl erupted in Piazza Alberti, just five minutes driving from the Franchi, where Fiorentina hosted Inter last night.
As shown in an exclusive video published by Football Italia, the two groups of fans came to blows in the middle of the street, while other fans were driving back home after Inter’s 3-1 win over Vincenzo Italiano’s side.
Inter and Fiorentina fans hadn’t clashed inside the stadium before, during or after the game.
Serie A stadiums reopened at half capacity after the COVID pandemic and there were circa 16,000 fans attending the game at the Artemio Franchi on Tuesday.

Time to reopen stadiums 100% – people get frustrated
I feel like fan behaviour across europe has severely regressed since the reopening of stadiums. wembley, hungarian fans, marseille game, leicester game last week, racism, sectarian chants, stupid banners. We are going backwards.
What’s most shocking is that people still record videos in portrait mode.
Pent up anger the last year and a half with Covid perhaps…with a dose of ultras violence thrown in for good measure.
Totally agree @Rosario. We’re back into the tribalism of support again and the fans can descend to low depths again.
Shame.
@Gamal hahahaha
Covid Vaccine don’t work well in some people’s blood and they still went for the second dose , I guess this is the result. And the worst part of it some of them have wives and children at home, I’m so sorry for those women who ends up with these empty brains.
