Sky Sport Italia reports Inter have reached an agreement with Lautaro Martinez over a new five-year deal at San Siro.
The Argentine has negotiated with the Nerazzurri in recent months and was meanwhile linked with a move away from the club, as Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi left this summer.
Inter have started life well under Simone Inzaghi, with two wins in two Serie A games, and Lautaro’s agent has reiterated the player’s desire to stay with the Beneamata.
Sky Sport Italia reports the club and the player have now agreed new terms for the Argentine, who is set to pen a new deal soon.
Lautaro’s current deal expires in June 2023, but the attacker will renew until June 2026 and reportedly earn €6m a season plus bonuses.
The 24-year-old, capped 28 times by Argentina, arrived at Inter from Racing Club in July 2018 and has established himself as a key member of the squad at the Giuseppe Meazza.
