Juventus have announced the squad list for the match against Monza in the Berlusconi Trophy tonight and confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo stays at Continassa.

The Portuguese superstar has not been called up by the Old Lady for the match against the Serie B side.

Sky Sport Italia reports there’s no disciplinary problem or transfer market reason behind the absence, as he arrived just one week ago and will rest in the second friendly of Max Allegri’s Juventus.

Ronaldo started working with the rest of the team on Monday after his routine visits at J|Medical and continues to carry out athletic training.

Paulo Dybala is also absent, as the Argentine struggles with muscle fatigue. Federico Chiesa, Federico Bernardeschi, Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini return next week, as they are on an extended holiday after going all the way at the Euros.
