“When you lose a game you want to win the following one, we are doing everything we can do win.
“It’s a pleasure [to return to France] and play against a team like Lille, I like playing for Milan,” he added.
The former Empoli midfielder has a €50m clause included in his contract with the Serie A giants.
“I don’t think about it, it’s not my job. I think about the pitch. I am really happy at Milan."
The Rossoneri will be without Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is expected to remain out of action for a couple of weeks.
“I am happy because I am playing and learning a lot [from him],” the 22-year-old said.
“I was a different player one year ago, now I am learning many things. Ibra has made me become a better footballer, he always wants us to be professional. He speaks a lot and he helps us a lot too.”
