Hellas Verona defender Mert Cetin has pulled out of the Turkey squad after spraining his ankle on international duty.
The centre-back has been released for a return to Italy, where he will undergo further tests.
Cetin has barely featured for Verona since his move from Roma, as he also had a muscular injury in October.
The 23-year-old has two senior caps for Turkey and played half of Wednesday’s 3-3 friendly draw against Croatia.
