The two clubs have already done business this transfer window, as Ashley Young joined the Nerazzurri for €1.5m.
Vecino has been in and out of boss Antonio Conte’s starting XI this season, but isn’t considered a first choice option.
The former Fiorentina player has made 14 appearances in Serie A this season.
It’s unclear if Inter will let the 28-year-old leave in January, but should Christian Eriksen arrive from Tottenham, then Vecino may be surplus to requirements.
