Brych is a 44-year-old lawyer who most notably was in charge of the 2017 Champions League Final, when Real Madrid beat Juventus 4-1.
His record with Liverpool is three wins, a draw and a defeat, most recently the 5-2 Champions League semi-final victory with Roma in April 2018.
Napoli had a rather worse history with Brych, winning once 4-2 with Benfica and losing the other two to Chelsea and Manchester City.
