Atletico Madrid striker Nikola Kalinic could return to Serie A this month, with Bologna, Sampdoria, Atalanta and even Fiorentina interested.

Kalinic has seen his career nosedive since leaving Fiorentina in 2017, scoring just 10 goals in two seasons with Milan and Atleti.

However, Il Messaggero maintains the 31-year-old is still highly rated by several Serie A clubs, including Bologna, Sampdoria and Atalanta.

There would also be interest from the Viola, whose Coach Vincenzo Montella took him to the Rossoneri.

Kalinic netted 33 times in 84 appearances for Fiorentina between 2015 and 2017, prior to his ill-fated €29m move to San Siro.

He was also left out of Atleti’s squad for their preseason tour of the US.
