Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo is back in Portugal’s squad after almost a year of no call-ups.

Ronaldo last played for Portugal at the 2018 World Cup but, like Lionel Messi, returns for the upcoming international break.

Juve right-back Joao Cancelo, Napoli left-back Mario Rui and Inter midfielder Joao Mario are also selected, but there is no space for Parma defender Bruno Alves or Inter’s Cedric Soares.
