Reports in Italy state Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is focused on signing Roma goalkeeper Alisson.

The Brazilian international has been linked with a move away this summer, but the Giallorossi won’t do business for less than €70-80m.

That has been Liverpool drop out of the race, while Real Madrid are unsure about spending that much.

Now though Il Romanista is reporting that Abramovich has told Chelsea’s directors to get Alisson, and agent Fali Ramadani is working on behalf of the Blues.

Now though Il Romanista is reporting that Abramovich has told Chelsea’s directors to get Alisson, and agent Fali Ramadani is working on behalf of the Blues.

He met with a representative from Roma, Stefano Castagna, while he is also acting as an intermediary between the English club and Alisson’s agent, Ze Maria.

Chelsea are offering €5.5m for five years, as well as a signing-on fee of €5m.

There could be a merry-go-round of goalkeepers this summer, as Alisson’s arrival would see Thibaut Courtois leave Stamford Bridge.

He could go to Real Madrid, while Roma would then be left needing a goalkeeper. That ‘keeper could be Alphonse Areola, who doesn’t want to play backup to Gigi Buffon at Paris Saint-Germain.
