Juventus Coach Massimiliano Allegri has made it clear he wants Alvaro Morata or Anthony Martial if Gonzalo Higuain leaves, reports suggest.

Pipita has been linked with a move away from the Bianconeri this summer, with suggestions they’ll accept bids of over €63m in order to break even on the €94m deal from Napoli two years ago.

The striker isn’t unhappy at Juve, reports the Gazzetta dello Sport, but he’d prefer to play in a team set up to serve him as he enjoyed with Maurizio Sarri at Napoli.

Allegri’s approach requires Higuain to participate more in the build-up play and defensive work, while he’d prefer to return to being a traditional number 9.

The Gazzetta reports it’s far from certain the Argentine will leave, but if he does then the Coach wants Manchester United’s Martial, or Morata of Chelsea.

Allegri wants a younger, pacier striker so Edinson Cavani or Robert Lewandowski wouldn’t fit the bill.

Both Morata and Martial are out of favour at their respective clubs, with the former having previously spent two seasons with the Bianconeri.
