“It’s not about Juventus. There’s a good chance I will leave Genoa, we haven’t yet decided where to, there will be meetings with the club over the next few days.

“I am not afraid to go to a big club, because there is competition for places at all big clubs. It wouldn’t just be the case at Juve – perhaps slightly more difficult there – but I am well aware that if I leave Genoa, I’ll have to fight for my place at any big club.
“This is an objective I have and I want to give it a go.”
Perin was asked outright if he has a preference between Juventus, Roma, Napoli, Liverpool or any other club.
“Of course I have a preference, I am someone with clear ideas in my mind, but I’m not telling you! I want to get out of my comfort zone and I can do that now because Genoa helped me to grow and develop.
“I had some contact with clubs abroad, but my priority is to remain in Italy. After 10 years in the same team, obviously Genoa is my home. I entered into the hearts of the fans and they entered into mine.”
