Red paint and offensive phrases were painted on the wall featuring Nerazzurri legends, which was to be unveiled tomorrow for the club’s 110th anniversary.

The ultras of the Curva Nord worked to wipe away the graffiti and left a note at the base of the wall.

“To you unworthy sons of this Metropolis who damage the celebration of the anniversary of the birth of someone who wrote indelible pages in the history of our city,” read the statement.

“If you are Milanisti, you should know that although we are separated by rivalry, in your shoes we would have shown total respect for those who also honoured the image of the city we love.

“If you are pseud-fans of other clubs, go back to your own homes or move to the cities of your own clubs, because you are not worthy of living in Milan.

“We are sure that anyone who calls himself a man shouldn’t take it out on a wall, but rather seek out someone his own size. If you’ve got the balls, we invite you to present yourself in any location where you’ll find an Interista to defend Inter rather than just a wall.

“We are Milano, we are Inter and there is no paint that can cancel out history!!!”
