Lazio have officially confirmed that Danilo Cataldi has joined Benevento, on loan with obligation to buy.
The 22-year-old was seen as one of the Biancocelesti’s most promising players, but made just six Serie A starts last season.
He spent the second half of the campaign on loan with Genoa, making 13 appearances without scoring or assisting a goal.

“S.S Lazio announces that it has given Danilo Cataldi on loan to Benevento Calcio, with the obligation for this to be transformed into definitive transfer,” the statement from the Aquile reads.
This season will see Benevento compete in Serie A for the first time in their history.
