Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman announces he will return to training “in mid-February”.
The Dutch international has missed most of the last two seasons with a series of knee injuries, but is nearing a return to action.
“I feel much better,” Strootman said at a meeting with fans.
“I’ll play a short match with the Primavera, then return to training with the first-team in mid-February.
