Walter Zenga plays down the 2-0 defeat to Torino: ‘Sampdoria must not lose their composure’.
Two goals by Fabio Quagliarella gave the Blucerchiati a shock in Week 4 of Serie A, leaving them at seven points in the standings.
“We started out playing a bit low in the first quarter of an hour,” said Zenga after the game.
“That was by design, because we knew that Toro could create dangers with Bruno Peres and [Christian] Molinaro.
“But Peres managed to get some space anyway and we conceded two goals.

“The first was some nice work by Quagliarella, the second came from a rebound.
“In the second half we showed a good reaction, we did well.
“We could have opened the match again with Eder and [Luis] Muriel, but we must start again now and keep our composure.”
