It was mooted this morning that a group of Arab investors were looking at buying into the Rossoneri, but reports in Spain indicate that the Wanda, which owns 20 per cent of Atletico Madrid are also in the running.

Super Deporte, working from reports in China, believes that the group would be willing to pay around €145m to acquire just under a third of the shares.

The group could be more attractive to President Silvio Berlusconi than either the Arab group or Bee Taechaubol, as the firm works in construction, among other things.

That could help the Rossoneri with the construction of their proposed new stadium.
