The forward has played a starring role in Samp’s rise to fourth in the table, scoring four and assisting one in nine Serie A appearances.
The 23-year-old’s form has reportedly attracted the interest of Napoli, with Sky stating that the Partenopei see Gabbiadini as a ready made replacement for the injured Lorenzo Insigne.
Sky believes that the Neapolitan side could try to tempt Sampdoria in January, with a bid of between €14m and €16m, however the player’s agent is not so sure.
Gabbiadini is co-owned by Juventus and Sampdoria, and his representative warns it is the Bianconeri who will decide his client’s future.
“Gabbiadini is co-owned by Juventus,” Silvio Pagliari reminded Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“They are the club who will decide the lad’s future. He’s very happy in Genoa.
“With [Coach Sinisa] Mihajlovic, Sampdoria are doing great things.
“They are one of the surprises of the season and will give anyone in this League a hard game.”
