Genoa’s Diego Perotti considers a 1-1 draw with Palermo as two points dropped as the Grifone fail to move into fourth place.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s men could have edged above city rivals Sampdoria into fourth, but were held by Palermo at Marassi tonight.

“We’ve dropped two points, we played much better than Palermo,” Perotti told Mediaset after the final whistle.

“Europa League? There’s a long way to go, but if we continue like this then we can achieve that dream.

“The support is incredible here at Genoa, the fans always back us passionately.”
