The Spaniard pulled up in conceding the Rossoneri’s fourth to Parma late into Sunday’s nine-goal thriller with what appeared to be a hamstring injury.

Sky Sport Italia believe that the issue relates to the 32-year-old’s flexor muscle along the back of his leg and that post-match he was struggling to walk on it.

The outlet believe that the injury places the goalkeeper as a significant doubt ahead of next weekend’s League clash with Juventus.

Milan are reported by their in-house television channel as set to carry out medical tests on Lopez’s condition during the course of Monday, as well as tests on centre-back Alex.

Meanwhile, Stephan El Shaarawy’s ankle injury sustained last week has shown signs of inflammation, also making him a significant risk to recover in time for Week 3.

Fernando Torres’ own ankle injury is believed not as major and he is more likely to be able to debut against the Old Lady.
