“I spoke to Hugo and can certainly say he won’t go to Genoa,” Angel Moretto told FCInternews.
“It is a purely personal issue: if in doubt, he prefers Sampdoria. I can tell you there could well be a deal between Inter and Samp, but nobody has spoken to him yet. There’s nothing official at the moment.
“Do you know the problem? Hugo doesn’t want to leave Inter. If it were up to him, he’d stay. Evidently the club wants to give him away and there are other sides who want him.”
