Milan have reportedly entered into negotiations with Real Madrid regarding their goalkeeper Diego Lopez.

The Spanish shot-stopper appears set to leave Santiago Bernabeu following Keylor Navas’ arrival and the continued presence at the club of Iker Casillas.

According to transfer market specialist Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has identified Lopez as the solution to the Rossoneri’s current goalkeeping search.

It is said that Galliani has opened talks with Madrid President Florentino Perez with a view to permanently signing the player.

Other reports in the Italian media today have already linked the San Siro club with a move for Genoa keeper Mattia Perin.
