There were reports the Rossoneri sent a delegation to Moscow last night in order to negotiate for the Japanese international.

Although his contract expires in December and he has an agreement to join Milan as a free agent in January, they are eager to bring forward the transfer.

“We respect Honda’s desire to join Milan, especially as it is his dream,” CSKA Moscow director general Babaev told ITAR-TASS news agency.

“However, we haven’t received any offers from the Italian club. If the proposal does arrive and we consider it adequate, then we will release Honda.”
