There were rumours swirling around in the Italian media today that the Rossoneri would try to appease their unhappy fans by bringing back Kaka.

The 30-year-old Brazilian was first called up for Real Madrid’s friendly test, but then mysteriously dropped again, fuelling claims of a rift with Jose Mourinho.

According to Sportitalia, Milan Vice-President Galliani was spotted at dinner in the city with Gaetano Paolillo, the agent who represents Kaka and Ganso.

"Some loves never die, they just go round on a long journey and come back again," was Galliani's response when journalists asked about the Kaka rumours.

The Rossoneri have to win back their supporters after some started a class action lawsuit to have their season tickets reimbursed following the sale of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva to PSG.

Kaka left San Siro for a world record £56m fee to Real Madrid in June 2009, but has suffered from a series of injuries.
