“This does not mean it is his price-tag or valuation, but it is what he is worth for me and he won’t leave for less.

“PSG cannot just go around buying everyone. If there is to be the Financial Fair Play rule, then I don’t understand how Michel Platini can justify certain clubs ignoring it.”

PSG have already signed Ezequiel Lavezzi from Napoli this summer, adding to the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva from Milan.

“I am creating a base to work from London, so the business path will go from Naples to London, Rio de Janeiro and Beijing,” continued the Hollywood mogul.

“I am looking forward to the Italian Super Cup in Beijing next month. Our rapport with Juventus has always been special and has a particular taste for the Partenopei. I am confident.”

Napoli have made a bid for Palermo and Italy full-back Federico Balzaretti, but the player is hesitant.

“There are two problems with Balzaretti’s move. The first is that Alessandro Moggi is his agent, so we never know what he really wants to do. The second is that his wife and child live in Paris.

“He was clear that he wants either Palermo or PSG and I respect his reasoning. If he doesn’t arrive, then we could sign a youngster.”
