Stefano Pioli has warned of the strength Wednesday’s visitors Juventus have, but urges his Bologna players to match the Bianconeri.

Juve can regain first place in the table with a win over Pioli’s Felsinei at the Renato Dall’Ara this midweek. However, on a run of just one defeat from the nine outings in the calendar year of 2012, Bologna’s Coach is confident that his side have the potential to make it an interesting game for the Turin giants.

“Bologna faces a Juventus that is very strong, undefeated and will do anything to regain top spot in the League,” Pioli told the Press on Tuesday.

“We’re good and tomorrow’s game is great because it comes at the right time – we have positive motivation.

“Juve will dominate the match but we will play our cards, ball for ball. We will need to call on all our quality.”

Antonio Conte is without Andrea Barzagli and Giorgio Chiellini for the encounter, but Pioli is not convinced that it will affect the visitors too much.

“They will play [Martin] Caceres and [Leonardo] Bonucci, who are two internationals. Conte can work with his eyes closed and still make no mistake – I don’t see other teams like that.

“The results speak for him and they say he is doing a wonderful job.”
