The French giants have been strongly linked with the midfielder over the last two weeks and a move is within the realms of reality.

“There are still eight days to go in the transfer window and anything could happen,” the Brazilian-born Italian international noted.

“I have spoken to President Massimo Moratti and Coach Claudio Ranieri. We’ve clarified a few things, now we’ll see what happens.”

Motta’s future at San Siro is in doubt given that his contract is set to expire in June 2013 and extension talks have yet to commence.

“Paris is a great city, but I don’t know as I’m happy in Milan,” he added. “Genoa signed me during a difficult time, then I moved to Inter and we made history together.”

Motta is a regular in the Giro Azzurro, but he rejected the notion that he needed to be playing in Serie A to remain in the plans of Italy boss Cesare Prandelli.

“That’s not true,” he added. “I’m at Inter now, but let’s see…”
