This Sunday's Roma-Lazio will have a record low of spectators and could be the last for Francesco Totti.

The sale of 35,000 tickets in the first half of the tournament was seen as a tremendously poor result for the clash of the capital, but figures could look worse for the upcoming game this weekend.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, the number of live spectators at the Olimpico could be as low as 30,000. So far the Laziali have purchased 3,000 tickets while the Romanisti bought 6,000.

The fans of the two clubs have become embittered this year, in particular as a result of prefect Franco Gabrielli's new security measures introducing barriers between the stewards and the ultras.

The derby could be even more gloomy if it proves to be the last for several of the main players.

Roma icon Francesco Totti could play his last derby, as President James Pallotta would rather not renew his contract as a player next year, and several of the Lupi players are being targeted on the transfer market, most notably Miralem Pjanic.

Similarly, Lazio may struggle to retain Felipe Anderson, Lucas Biglia and Antonio Candreva at the end of this season.
