Roma have reportedly agreed a fee to sign Seydou Doumbia from Russian club CSKA Moscow.

The Ivorian has been reported as a target for the Giallorossi in recent days, after the club seemingly missed out on Luiz Adriano and Yehven Konoplyanka.

It was previously thought that an agreement existed in principle between the clubs, but today SportMediaset reports new developments, with the news outlet stating that a bid has been accepted.

It’s thought that the striker would move on an initial €3m loan, with the Lupi having the right to sign him permanently for around €15m.

Doumbia’s agent earlier admitted that he had discussed a move with his client, but it is not clear yet whether the international is keen on a move to Serie A.

The 27-year-old has 10 goals in 20 games across all competitions this season.
