The Swiss international’s contract expires at the end of the season, and speculation has linked 30-year-old with a move away.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, while Juventus continue to hold talks with Lichtsteiner and his representatives, informal discussions have also been held with Arsenal, with Arsene Wenger seen as keen to bring the player to the Emirates Stadium.
Although Inter would apparently be willing to offer the defender the opportunity to remain in Italy should he leave the Bianconeri, it’s thought that, should the former Lazio man decide to leave Juventus, it would be for a move to the Premier League.
The website reports that Juventus are still confident of Lichtsteiner signing a new deal with the club, but Arsenal are understood to be very interested in the Bianconeri right-back.
