Because of fears there will be revenge incidents in the second leg in Rome, and to ensure safety for the travelling fans, police representatives from both Liverpool and Rome will hold an extraordinary summit in the Italian Capital tomorrow to plan the security operation.
According to Il Tempo newspaper and news agency ANSA, who cite 'police sources,' Italian police have been warned that of the 5,000 travelling Liverpool fans, around 1,000 are expected to be 'at risk' of trouble.
There will be over 1,000 police officers deployed in the city to help keep supporters separated and Liverpool fans are advised to stick to specific areas.
Places well known to be hotspots for Roma ultras violence are Ponte Milvio and Ponte della Musica.
