Cagliari and Fiorentina‘s Serie A campaign ends tonight with a meeting at the Unipol Domus, probably the last one in Claudio Ranieri’s career.

It kicks off at 20:45 CET, and it means so much for so many reasons for both Cagliari and Fiorentina.

It is surely Ranieri’s last game in charge of Cagliari, but multiple reports in Italy claim it will also end the Italian tactician’s career as a coach.

Jakub Jankto and Antoine Makoumbou are injured and Alberto Dossena is suspended for Cagliari who already secured survival last week after a 2-0 win over direct rivals Sassuolo.

On the other hand, Fiorentina still need points to secure a mathematical European qualification but they are also preparing for next week’s Conference League Final against Olympiacos.

Only Riccardo Sottil is unavailable for the Tuscans, while captain Cristiano Biraghi picked up a knock during a training session on Wednesday, so he’ll start on the bench.

Despite next week’s Conference League Final, Andrea Belotti and Lucas Beltran are still expected to start.
