Juventus boss Gigi Del Neri has waved goodbye to 2010 – a year that the tactician concedes he will never forget.
"Today an exciting year for me on a personal level comes to an end," stated the former Chievo Verona miracle worker.
"My great season with Sampdoria allowed me to move on to Juventus, a club and a squad who are one of the best in the world."
Del Neri was appointed as Juve boss in the summer after surprisingly guiding Doria into the Champions League.
And after 17 games of the new campaign, with his Juve side just five points adrift of leaders Milan, he has dreams of winning the Scudetto in 2011.
"The first half of the campaign allowed us to get into the top spots and that is a good sign for the next five months of the season," he added.
"Our objective is to try and win all of our games in the knowledge that winning the title won't be easy but is within our reach."
Juventus resume their Scudetto bid on Thursday when they take on Parma at the Stadio Olimpico in Turin.
