Juventus defender Angelo Ogbonna believes his team will give everything in the Champions League final against Barcelona and praised Coach Massimiliano Allegri.

The Bianconeri face off against Barca next Saturday for European football’s biggest prize and the 27-year-old believes they are ready for the challenge.

“We’re aware that Barcelona are a great team but we will give 150% on the pitch and we will be attentive to every detail,” he said in an interview with JTV.

“We are a group that is becoming more compact, day after day. On the pitch we try to show our full potential and I believe that the strongest message we have sent this season is in the strength of the collective.

“We won a championship that we wanted to take home from the beginning of the season. It was our big objective.

“Then there’s the Coppa Italia, which we finally won after 20 years with a great final and a great semi-final against Fiorentina in Florence.

“Perhaps that was the real turning point of the season, along with the away win in the league against Napoli.

“Allegri has integrated himself very well and given us self-confidence game by game, and we have been made to feel responsible.

“We are preparing even now for June 6. We’ll try to have a good match against Verona to end the league season in the best way and to continue our journey towards the Champions League final.”
