It is reported that Roma have agreed to sell defender Mehdi Benatia to English champions Manchester City.
The Moroccan only joined the Giallorossi from Udinese last summer, but his impressive performances for Rudi Garcia’s side have seen him attract the interest of a number of top European clubs.
According to English newspaper Daily Mirror, the Premier League outfit will have to fork out around €37m in order to prise the 27-year-old away from Stadio Olimpico.
However, while a deal is said to have been agreed, it is also stated that it will only go through once Roma have successfully signed a replacement for the centre-back.
