Romanews.eu are reporting that Giallorossi trio Maicon, Mehdi Benatia and Francesco Totti could be doubtful for their side’s next Serie A match.
Rudi Garcia’s team beat Sampdoria 3-0 on Sunday but the victory now appears to have come at a price.
Brazilian Maicon was forced off during the game with what appears to be a knock to his left thigh. He will now be examined over the next few days in order to determine whether he will be fit in time to face Bologna on Saturday.
Moroccan Benatar was also substituted with what being reported as a knock to the hip, though this is said to have been a precautionary move by Garcia and he is likely to be fit.
Finally, club icon Totti, who missed the Sampdoria game due to a buttock injury, will undergo further examination this week but remains a major doubt for the trip to face the Rossoblu.
