Atalanta have revealed that they turned down an offer for Marko Livaja just hours after he completed his move from Inter.
The 19-year-old joined the Bergamo outfit in a co-ownership deal this week as part of the move that saw Ezequiel Schelotto go in the other direction.
“We’re talking about a player who will have a great future,” Atalanta general director Pierpaolo Marino noted.
“Eintracht Frankfurt have asked us for him, but he’ll be staying with us.”
The striker, formerly of Hajduk Split, Lugano and Cesena, scored four goals in seven Europa League games for Inter this season.
