Cagliari stopper Davide Astori insists that he is ignoring the transfer rumours surrounding his future.
The Italian international is being linked with clubs such as Milan and Southampton this month, but he’s just focused on his current side.
“I’m calm about the rumours,” he stated. “That is because this situation is in the hands of capable people like President Massimo Cellino and director general Francesco Marroccu.
“I’m just thinking about the playing side of things for the rest of the season.
“An experience abroad? I’d like that from a footballing and lifestyle perspective. It would be good to learn another language.”
Astori, a 26-year-old who graduated from the youth academy at Milan, has been at Cagliari since 2008. He’s played in 17 League games this term.
